Four years ago, with the help of friends and family, Nermana Huskic started the organization RukaNade. This nonprofit organization began as an effort to raise money for families in need in Nermana’s home country of Bosnia. Since then they have collected donations and raised money for projects in Bosnia such as remodeling of hospitals, orphanages, and homes. Shortly after the success of the initial effort, Nermana and her team created a program to serve St. Louis as well.
