3rd Annual Bilingual International Trivia Night – November 2, 2019

October 10, 2019 By Jason Baker

Please join us for our Third Annual Trivia Night and Auction benefiting Bilingual International Assistant Services, on Saturday November 3rd, 2019. The event will be held at the Webster Groves Masonic Temple (12 E Lockwood Ave) in Webster Groves. Trivia will be internationally themed, with a special focus on the Citizenship Exam, recognizing the difficulties our clients face in achieving citizenship. Our Refugee Services Team Leader and in-house triviamaster Ron Klutho is crafting the trivia rounds, so they’re guaranteed to be good ones!

Tables of 8 are $200 in advance, through Eventbrite or check. We ask that tickets be purchased by October 23 to allow us time to prepare! Individual tickets may be available – please contact the agency for more information.

But wait, there’s more! Cash prizes for the top performing tables, , mulligans, 50-50 draw, dead or alive, and more! The event will also feature a silent auction with a variety of items available for bidding, including but not limited to St. Louis sports paraphernalia and tickets, certificates to local businesses and restaurants, etc.

Come out to support a great organization and impress your friends with your vast knowledge of random facts! Or stun them with your utter ignorance!  A good time will be had by all, and all proceeds will go to continuing our clinical work with immigrant and refugee populations in the St. Louis area. Complimentary snacks and Urban Chestnut beer, but you are welcome, and encouraged, to bring your own spread! Doors will open at 6pm, and programming will begin at 7.

We are also actively seeking additional items for the silent auction. If you are interested in donating and/or have any questions at all, please contact Marketing Coordinator, Leah Star, at leah.star@bilingualstl.org or 314-645-7800 x 209. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you soon!

The United Way of Greater St. Louis Safety Net of local nonprofit agencies helps one out of every three residents in our region. THAT'S A LOT OF PEOPLE, and it includes many of us on staff here at Bilingual International. Which is part of the reason why we are proud to host - for the second year now - an admittedly modest employee contribution campaign to support the same Safety Net that funds our work.
