Bilingual International has secured a federal grant award and will be rolling out a new program for recent Afghan evacuees in St. Louis. The Services to Afghan Survivors Impacted by Combat (SASIC) program will provide supportive case management and counseling for families impacted by war-related trauma. The 3-year, $1.8 million award will fund an Afghan-led and -staffed team of bilingual case managers with attached therapists and contracted psychiatry services. We are also proud to be working with Welcome Neighbor STL and the Islamic Foundation of Greater St. Louis to provide community supports and input. Details in the linked article! ... See MoreSee Less
