As part of the local Jewish and Muslim Day of Community Service, our agency is joining many others to provide opportunities for volunteers of different faiths (or no specific spiritual leaning) to work together to continue a meaningful program for deserving local residents.  Volunteers are needed to deliver gift bags and midday meals to 100 of our needy senior households from 11 am – 1 pm on Christmas morning.

When: Christmas Day, December 25, 2017
Where: Bilingual International, 1329 Macklind Ave. 63110
Drivers will need to arrive by 11 am.  Deliveries “should” end around 1 pm.

We will also need a few volunteers several days before Christmas to assemble gift bags.
Gift bags will contain household items (soap, aluminium foil, zip lock bags, etc.), nonperishable food (rice, pasta, etc.) and handcrafted hats, scarves, pot holders and lap quilts/blankets. We are still seeking donors for some of these items. Cash donations also are welcome!

For any questions, please contact Ellen Sherman at ellen.sherman@monarchstl.org or by calling at 314-645-7800 ext. 260
