There are many reasons why Macklind International Senior Center is popular with the older foreign-born adults we serve, but one of the biggest is certainly the food. Culturally appropriate cuisine prepared fresh, on-site, with nutritious ingredients.  Merita and Hajrija work tirelessly to prepare these meals for our participants and to cater to the palate and cultural wishes of each group.  We know that this makes Macklind International unique, but we feel that our seniors are worth it and should have the dignity of a decent meal cooked from scratch.  If you feel the same, help us defray the cost of this endeavor by remembering Bilingual International on Give STL Day, May 11.  Our staff and participants thank you!
